Work by Todd Reynolds and Tina Tammaro
The show features evocative work, conjuring descriptions such as expressionistic, psychological, and captivating. Both artists deal with contemporary narrative themes, striking a balance between individual styles and influences from the great painters of western tradition. Todd Reynold’s imagery projects a personalized kind of history painting. His work blends social allegory with a point of view derived from the subconscious mind; his kind of “dream states”. The themes are derived from personal
and social experiences. Tina Tammaro’s paintings are also personal, but instead embody her firmly rooted humanistic values, as well as concepts of freedom and power, featured prominently in her creative work.
