Works
Overview
What have I found along the way about Art? It’s a way of going through life. I was fortunate to have recently gone through about 5 years of consistent creative activity, of which these works are a testament. My goal is to always exhibit what I refer to as process. I use drawing with big sharpies and water-media on canvas, big brushes that hold a lot of liquid pigment, and paint very wet and very loose, so that the medium runs and makes happy accidents. At least that’s how I see it. I leave a lot of white space unpainted and sometimes that results in light. If a painting takes more than an hour or so to paint, I consider it overworked because the spontaneous spirit fades quickly. It helps to work on several paintings at once.
